My name is Alyson Svec. I am a 22-year-old journalism major at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
I was born and raised in a small town in La Grange, Texas. After graduating high school in 2008, I went to Blinn College in Schulenburg for a couple years to take my basic courses, then transferred to Texas State during fall 2010. I am graduating this December!
I currently work as a computer lab assistant in Old Main. After I graduate, I plan to work for my the local newspaper business in my hometown: The Fayette County Record. I already had one of my stories published on the first page!
My interests include: watching late night movies, traveling, shopping, hanging out with friends and designing magazine pages, newspapers and invitations. Most of all, I love listening to music during any time of the day.
